Charlie Brook, Practice Manager

Charlie has been involved with the practice both at Spring Paddocks and, before the practice split, at Clarendon Street. Living on site and married to a Veterinary Surgeon, she cannot help but become involved with all aspects of veterinary work, including trying to keep everything running smoothly! She rides and hunts regularly with the Warwickshire Foxhounds and is still involved with the Warwickshire Pony Club through her youngest daughter Jess, aged 10 years.

Charlotte Moore BA(hons) BHSAI, Receptionist

Charlotte graduated from Warwickshire College in 2001 with a BA in Equine Studies. During that time she spent her year out training for her BHSAI and teaching at Gleneagles Equestrian Centre. As a qualified instructor she has also taught riding in America. Charlotte has owned her own horse for 7 years and competes, riding in all disciplines.

She works in reception and is the voice at the end of the phone!

Glenda Wallsgrove, Credit Controller

Born in New Zealand where she evented her own horses at all levels for 10 years, Glenda travelled to England 7 years ago and worked with Hunters,Eventers and Point to Pointers. After getting married locally she still competes regularly on her own event horses and works part-time as Credit Controller – every practice needs one!

Vicky Dickens, Clinical Assistant

Since leaving school, Vicky has continually worked with horses in a riding school, dressage yards and, prior to moving to John Brook’s practice in October 2000, for an eventing yard. She works part-time, in the mornings, helping with the general yard duties and assisting the Veterinary Surgeons, and is kept busy at home, being married to a gamekeeper with 6 dogs to look after. She enjoys all aspects of country and equestrian life.

Vicky Dickens

Suzie Sheldon, Yard Manager/Senior Clinical Assistant

Since leaving Bishop Burton in 1989 with a Diploma in Farm Business management, Suzie has worked with horses - mainly eventing and hunting.

She maintains a keen interest in all equine disciplines and continues to event her own horses up to Intermediate and '2 star' level.

Suzie has been with the practice for 4 years and running the yard, endeavours to keep the vets under control!
